How to uninstall InstaIndex
While we wish you had stayed, we understand your decision. You can uninstall InstaIndex at any time directly from the app in your Shopify admin.
Step 1: Open the InstaIndex App on Shopify and look at the top-right corner of the app page. Click the three horizontal dots and from the dropdown, select Uninstall.
Step 2: Confirm uninstall
After clicking Uninstall, Shopify will ask you to confirm the action. You may be asked to share a reason for uninstalling. Although selecting a reason for uninstalling is optional, we’d really appreciate it if you could share your feedback. Your input helps us improve.
Once confirmed, InstaIndex will be removed from your store and will be successfully uninstalled. No additional steps are required from your end.
NOTE: You can reinstall InstaIndex at any time before your current billing period ends and continue using the app. After the billing period, you can reinstall and choose a plan again.
What happens after uninstalling?
• All InstaIndex features, including IndexNow functionality, will be deactivated.
• Schema markup will no longer be applied to your store pages.
• The app is removed cleanly and does not leave any residual code on your store pages.
• All configurations and saved settings associated with InstaIndex will be permanently removed.
